Having bowed out of Australia's Got Talent in the semi-finals, finished recording their self-titled debut, and about to embark on a national tour with renowned Blues artist Eric Bibb, Blackbirds were keen to refresh their website.
We came up with a design which clearly communicated the Blackbirds music, vibe and spirit, and it was enthusiastically received by Renee, Adi, and Ben.
A decision was also made to provide high-quality, full-length tracks for visitors to listen to. As an indie band looking to gain increased exposure and additional bookings, the opportunities provided by sharing their music were clearly greater than any loss through piracy.
The site is managed by Digital Ally's Music Ally system, a content management system tailored specifically for the music industry.
