Blackbirds are a three-piece band from Byron Bay, gaining prominence in Australia when they reached the semi-finals of Australia's Got Talent in 2010.

Based in Byron Bay, Blackbirds was formed a year ago with a vision to deliver inspired and soulful music with a laid-back, island-style charm.
Their vision paid off quickly as they made it through to the semi-finals of a national talent competition. Although they didn't reach the finals, their music managed to reach a much wider audience, propelling the Blackbirds towards their goal of releasing a debut independent album.
